Un caffé fatto bene = a coffee made right!

In 2020 I brought a cute little coffee van to Skegrie and wanted a small coffee business.

But when the village wanted me to bake rolls on Saturdays, I learned to bake bread.

Then the customers asked for a café where they could stay to eat and have a cup of coffee, so me and my husband arranged that as well.

Now we have a micro-bakery, producing organic sourdough bread rolls and pastries with the best ingredients baked from scratch with love.

Café Fatto Bene offers freshly roasted organic coffee, homemade sourdough bread, sandwiches and pastries.

OUR COFFEE

Our organic and fairtrade coffee beans come from high mountains in Central and South America, Guatemala, Colombia and Peru. The special blend to Café Fatto Bene is made from 100% Arabica beans, grows in the shade 1200-1900 m above sea level, is handpicked and delivered directly to Skåne.

BRUNCH

Gluten-free buns

Friday every even week we bake gluten-free buns after pre-order. Contact us to place an order no later than Thursday at 12:00 noon the same week.

Sourdough pizza dough

We bake sourdough pizza dough last weekend of every month. At home, you press the dough out onto a lightly floured board, top with your favorite toppings and put it in the oven for a short while on high heat. Order by Thursdays at 12:00 the same week and pick up the dough on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

COMPANY ORDERS

We prepare and deliver delicious breakfast buns, sandwiches and lunch every day of the week to companies.

Minimum order is 500 kr and we offer free delivery within a 10 km radius.

My wife and I stopped by for a late brunch and ordered a brunch plate and an omelette—both were well-prepared and delicious. The American pancakes, however, were a bit disappointing due to a strong sour taste, as if the batter had fermented or been left out too long. On the bright side, the café latte and cappuccino were both excellent. The friendly staff and cozy atmosphere made for a pleasant overall experience. The salads looked fresh and appetizing too—we might return another time to try them.

Update 30/08: We took them up on Szilvia’s kind offer and went back for a pancake round two 🥞☕ This time… perfection! Fluffy, golden, and exactly the kind of stack that makes you wonder why forks weren’t invented with pancakes in mind 😅 Big thanks to the team for turning things around – the coffee and rest of the breakfast was spot on too.

We went there for breakfast today! Delicious breakfast, we had the burrito and the mixed breakfast – amazing, tasty, and a large portion! The coffee was amazing! Thanks Tim for your service – we'll be back!

While passing through on our bike tour, the café was super cozy, and the service was extremely friendly and welcoming. The cardamom tarts and breakfast sandwiches are lovingly made in-house and taste fantastic!

Stumbled upon this cafe when Vibs was going to buy pizza nearby. Nice owner who offered some extra bread when we bought coffee. It resulted in us coming back the following weekend. Really good bread and coffee, a little more expensive but worth every penny❤️

Lovely little café worth a detour! We had the tastiest sourdough sandwiches and for dessert a Spanish cheese cake that was to die for. I am picky with my coffee but this was really very good.

Cute little cafe with super delicious sourdough bread and tasty baked goods!
Highly recommend!

We tried their classic sourdough, a cardamom knot, a raspberry & white chocolate knot and some buns.

Everything was fresh, delicious and loved by us as well as our little one!

The gentleman who served us (the owner we believe) was very friendly and so nice to chat with! We will definitely be back ☺️

Stopped here before our ferry crossing and were very pleasantly surprised. Super delicious sandwiches, delicious breakfast and bread and also very tasty desserts and coffee is also great!!

A real gem if you like quality, good taste and very friendly service. The only downside is that coming here can be addictive.
The bread is in a class of its own and the cakes really good.

A wonderful little cafe with wonderful tasting baked goods. Dishes ordered are freshly prepared and taste really delicious. The staff are also extremely friendly and convey a feeling of welcome and a family atmosphere.

We will visit this café again on our next trip and can fully recommend it!

So good it will blow your mind! My wife thought it was some of the best pancakes she ever had, she grew up in America so she sampled a few, they are amazing. Omelette was great too. Coffee is some off the best I have had in a long time. The bread, ohh the bread, it is as good as some of my favorite gourmet bakeries in Copenhagen, and Copenhagen has bread game. Prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. If you are anywhere just remotely close by then go, it’s worth the trip 👌

Fantastic cafe in beautiful Skegrie close to Trelleborg and Malmö. The owners are very friendly and take great care creating pastries and buns and the coffee is very good. They also make delicious sandwiches for breakfast and lunch. Highly recommend!

Such a lovely and hospitable couple!! They make their customers feel very at home and I can see they put their heart into their work. Great quality coffee, frothy rich cappuccino (they have non-dairy milk) and even gluten-free cakes! Highly recommend for an afternoon treat at their new Cafe location 😍
